Preview Roundups
March 01, 2020
Philadelphia at NY Rangers 12:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia Flyers have matched a season-high winning streak to move into contention for both a playoff slot and first place in the Metropolitan Division. The surging Flyers take aim at a season-high sixth consecutive victory and bid to complete a home-and-home sweep of another red-hot club when they visit the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
Calgary at Florida 4:00 PM ET
The Calgary Flames aim to end a difficult five-game road trip with a winning record after suffering two tough losses when they travel south to visit the Florida Panthers on Sunday night. The Flames won the first two contests on their trek, but gave up the tying tally in the final second of regulation and lost in overtime at Nashville on Thursday before battling back from a rough start only to drop a 4-3 decision at Tampa Bay on Saturday.
Vancouver at Columbus 7:00 PM ET
The injury-riddled Columbus Blue Jackets are holding on to the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference by one point despite recording just one win in their last 11 games (1-5-5) and will attempt to turn things around Sunday when they host the Vancouver Canucks. All-star defenseman Seth Jones and top goal-scorer Oliver Bjorkstrand, each questionable to return before the end of the regular season with ankle injuries, are among 10 regulars currently sidelined for the Blue Jackets.
Washington at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Wild have joined the fray in the Western Conference playoff race with a record-setting run and try to keep the momentum going when they host the Washington Capitals on Sunday. Minnesota has scored 17 times in its last three games - equaling the club record for goals in that span first set in 2009 - and has won them all, improving to 12-5-1 in the last 18 contests.
New Jersey at Anaheim 8:00 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks are well out of contention for a playoff slot but they have acquitted themselves well against some of the league's top teams over the past four games. Anaheim is seeking its first three-game winning streak since opening the season with three straight victories when they wrap up a six-game homestand against the New Jersey Devils on Sunday.
Los Angeles at Vegas 10:30 PM ET
The Vegas Golden Knights have created separation atop the Pacific Division on the heels of a franchise record-tying winning streak and have a chance to pad their advantage with a pair of last-place clubs on deck. The red-hot Golden Knights vie for their ninth consecutive victory when they resume a four-game homestand against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night.
