Edmonton at Toronto 7:00 PM ET
Auston Matthews has been on a blistering tear over the last month, tallying 10 times in a 14-game stretch to become the first player in the history of the Toronto Maple Leafs to score at least 30 goals in each of his first three seasons. Matthews will bid to continue his torrid run on Wednesday when the Maple Leafs conclude their four-game homestand in a marquee matchup against captain Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers.
Calgary at New Jersey 7:00 PM ET
The Calgary Flames attempt to increase their lead in the Pacific Division when they conclude their three-game road trip Wednesday against the New Jersey Devils. Calgary posted a 3-1 victory over the New York Islanders on Tuesday to extend its winning streak to a season-high six games and move five points ahead of San Jose in the Pacific.
Tampa Bay at NY Rangers 7:30 PM ET
The NHL-best Tampa Bay Lightning can set a franchise record with their 10th straight victory Wednesday night when they visit the rebuilding New York Rangers, who dealt two of their top four scorers before Monday’s trade deadline. The Lightning, who visit Boston on Thursday, have yet to lose in regulation this month (11-0-2) and extended their win streak to nine while reaching 100 points with a 4-3 shootout win over Los Angeles on Monday.
Vancouver at Colorado 9:30 PM ET
The Colorado Avalanche are in the thick of things for the final playoff spots in the Western Conference, climbing back into contention after a lengthy swoon in which they won only five times in 26 games spanning two-plus months. Riding a five-game point streak (4-0-1), Colorado will wrap up a three-game homestand against the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night.
Chicago at Anaheim 10:00 PM ET
The Chicago Blackhawks' late-season drive to reach the postseason has hit a speed bump and now the team must hit the road for a three-game trip through California. After winning 10 of 12 games to briefly move into a tie for the second wild card in the Western Conference, the Blackhawks have dropped two in a row entering Wednesday night's matchup at the Anaheim Ducks.
