Preview Roundups
January 22, 2018
North Carolina at Virginia Tech 7:00 PM ET
It wasn't pretty but No. 14 North Carolina earned its fourth straight victory Saturday, outscoring Georgia Tech 80-66 in a sloppy affair for its 15th straight ACC home win. The Tar Heels next travel to Virginia Tech on Monday to take on a Hokies team reeling from its second straight setback, 91-82 to Florida State.
Maryland at Indiana 7:00 PM ET

Two teams mired in the middle of the Big Ten standings will clash Monday night as Maryland visits Indiana. The Terrapins have lost three of their last five contests but are coming off a 77-66 home win over Minnesota while the Hoosiers had a three-game win streak snapped last Friday in a 85-57 road rout at No. 9 Michigan State.

Iowa State at Texas 7:00 PM ET

Iowa State responded from a season low with a new high in its win over No. 8 Texas Tech on Saturday. Next, the Cyclones will have to prepare for another team coming off an embarrassing low when Texas visits on Monday.

Nebraska at Ohio St. 8:00 PM ET
No. 22 Ohio State looks to continue its march towards its first Big Ten regular-season title since 2012 when it hosts Nebraska on Monday. The Buckeyes have won seven straight games, including a 67-49 victory against Minnesota on Saturday, to equal their win total from last season and hope to keep pace with third-ranked Purdue at the top of the conference standings by avenging a 58-57 loss to the Cornhuskers in their last matchup on Feb. 18, 2017.
Michigan St at Illinois 9:00 PM ET
No. 9 Michigan State looks to build on a dominating victory over Indiana when it travels Monday to face Illinois, which is still winless in Big Ten Conference play. The Spartans bounced back from a loss to Michigan with a 28-point win over the Hoosiers Friday, while the Illini are coming off a 25-point setback at Wisconsin.
Kansas State at Baylor 9:00 PM ET
Kansas State bounced back from a bitter loss at in-state rival Kansas to win back-to-back home games over top-25 ranked teams and move into a tie for third place in the Big 12. The Wildcats will try for their third-straight win on Monday night at slumping Baylor.
West Virginia at Texas Christian 9:00 PM ET
West Virginia will try to run its all-time record against TCU to 12-0 when the No. 7 Mountaineers visit the No. 25 Horned Frogs for a Big 12 game on Monday night. West Virginia bounced back from back-to-back losses to No. 8 Texas Tech and No. 10 Kansas and defeated Texas 86-51 on Saturday night.
