Preview Roundups
October 27, 2019
Golden State at Oklahoma City 3:30 PM ET
A matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder doesn't have quite the same bite to it with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook out of the picture, but Chris Paul and Steph Curry are still capable of summoning some magic. Curry and Paul will both be looking to lead their teams to their first victory when the Warriors visit the Thunder on Sunday.
Brooklyn at Memphis 6:00 PM ET
Kyrie Irving is hot out of the gate and led the Brooklyn Nets to their first win by displaying some heroics down the stretch against the New York Knicks on Friday. Irving and the Nets will try to make it two in a row when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.
Portland at Dallas 7:00 PM ET
The Dallas Mavericks are off to their best start since the 2004-05 team began 4-0 and will try to stay out of the loss column when they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Dallas, which hasn't made the postseason since 2015-16 and last won a playoff series in its 2010-11 championship season, was victorious at New Orleans 123-116 on Friday as Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis continued their hot starts.
Miami at Minnesota 7:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Timberwolves won their first two games of the season on the road for the second time in franchise history and look to build off that in their home opener against the unbeaten Miami Heat on Sunday night. Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 36.5 points, 14.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists as the Timberwolves edged Brooklyn in overtime before rolling to a 121-99 victory at Charlotte on Friday.
Charlotte at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers picked up their first victory of the LeBron James-Anthony Davis era on Friday and expect plenty more as the season continues. James, Davis and company will try to make it two in a row when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
