Chi. White Sox at Detroit 1:10 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox entered Monday having lost eight of the last nine division games, making this week a good time to face the Detroit Tigers. The White Sox hope to extend the misery of the Tigers a bit longer when the American League Central rivals clash in a day-night doubleheader Tuesday in Detroit.
Milwaukee at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
Christian Yelich has been a season-long nuisance for a Pittsburgh Pirates club that is mired in a disastrous 15-game run. Yelich and the Milwaukee Brewers aim to continue to pummel the Pirates on Tuesday when the National League Central rivals play the second contest of their three-game series in Pittsburgh.
NY Yankees at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
Another trip to Camden Yards led to another offensive explosion for the New York Yankees, who seek their 13th straight win in Baltimore when they continue a three-game series with the last-place Orioles on Tuesday. Behind two home runs for Mike Tauchman and solo shots from three others, the Yankees won the series opener 9-6 on Monday to run their winning streak to six and open up a nine-game lead in the American League East.
Kansas City at Boston 7:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox ended a frustrating eight-game slide by holding on in the series opener and look to post back-to-back wins when they host the struggling Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Rafael Devers and Sam Travis both went deep to extend Boston’s streak to a season-high 12 contests with at least one homer in Monday’s 7-5 victory, which put it within 5 1/2 games of the second wild-card spot in the American League.
Toronto at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays dug themselves too deep of a hole to challenge for a spot in the playoffs this season, but they have to be thrilled with some of the recent performances they have received from their young core. The Blue Jays take aim at their seventh win in nine tries Tuesday when they continue a three-game set in Tampa Bay against the Rays.
Texas at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Texas Rangers may have a difficult time climbing all the way back into the American League wild-card race, but they have a chance to match their longest winning streak of the season when they visit the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday. The Rangers have won five in a row after Mike Minor and two relievers combined on an eight-hitter in Monday's series-opening 1-0 victory.
LA Angels at Cincinnati 7:10 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds will try to win their fourth series in the last five tries when they finish a two-game interleague set with the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday. Behind seven stellar innings from Luis Castillo and a balanced attack that saw eight different players record a hit, the Reds won the series opener 7-4 on Monday.
Chi. White Sox at Detroit 7:10 PM ET
Miami at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
The New York Mets have emerged victorious in 11 of their last 12 games to secure a winning record for the first time since May 2. The host Mets hope to follow up their doubleheader sweep of the Miami Marlins on Tuesday when they play the third contest of a four-game series versus their National League East rival.
Oakland at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET
The Chicago Cubs attempt to remain unbeaten on their six-game homestand when they host the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game interleague series. National League Central-leading Chicago followed a three-game sweep of Milwaukee by holding on for a 6-5 triumph in Monday's  series opener.
Colorado at Houston 8:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros made a thunderous move at the trade deadline, pulling off a blockbuster deal to acquire right-hander Zack Greinke from Arizona. The Astros will get a firsthand look at their prized addition when Greinke makes his debut for Houston in the opener of a two-game interleague set against the visiting Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night.
Atlanta at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
Miguel Sano has struggled through a difficult season, but he delivered the biggest blow off the bench to give the Minnesota Twins an opportunity to clinch a series victory Tuesday at home against the Atlanta Braves. The Twins infielder, who's hitting .241 in 63 games after batting .199 last season, belted a two-run pinch-hit homer to lift Minnesota to a 5-3 victory Monday, snapping a 2-for-19 slump and giving him just his 20th hit in 107 at-bats at home in 2019.
Philadelphia at Arizona 9:40 PM ET
Philadelphia's Scott Kingery made sure his Chase Field homecoming 2.0 went better than his first as the Phillies continue their three-game series against the host Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Kingery, who hails from Phoenix, went hitless over five at-bats in two games in the desert as a rookie last season before going 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-3 victory.
Washington at San Francisco 9:45 PM ET
The Washington Nationals avoided a three-game losing streak and bettered their standing in the National League wild-card race with a victory in the series opener. Washington looks to move over .500 on its nine-game road trip when it visits the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game set.
St. Louis at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
Ace Clayton Kershaw tries to bounce back from a sub-par performance - by his standards - when the Los Angeles Dodgers host the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday for the second contest of their three-game series. Kershaw issued a season-high five walks but passed Sandy Koufax for third place on the Dodgers' all-time strikeouts list in an 8-2 victory over San Diego on Friday.
San Diego at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
The San Diego Padres went into the All-Star break with a .500 record and in contention for a wild card berth, but quickly dimmed their playoff hopes by losing seven of their next eight games. Now bringing up the rear in the National League West, the Padres will face another last-place club with the first of two at the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night.
