The Minnesota Twins are the only team in the majors yet to lose three in a row in 2019, and their resilience was on full display yet again Friday when they twice overcame three-run deficits to post their 16th comeback victory of the season. The Twins put the majors' best road record on the line once again Saturday when they visit Kansas City for the third of four games against the Royals.

The Minnesota Twins own a major league-leading 26 road wins and can clinch another series win away from home with a victory in the finale of a four-game set at Kansas City on Sunday. After dropping the opener of the series, the Twins have bounced back with a pair of tight wins, rallying to take Saturday's matchup 5-3 in 10 innings.

The St. Louis Cardinals filled up Busch Stadium to watch Albert Pujols return home Friday, and Marcell Ozuna did a fine impression of the three-time MVP to send the crowd home happy. The 28-year-old slugger attempts to power the Cardinals to a series victory Saturday when St. Louis hosts the Los Angeles Angels in the middle contest of their three-game interleague set.
NY Mets at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET
Jeff McNeil is doing his best to keep the New York Mets afloat, and the hot-hitting second-year man will try to help his crew to a second straight win over the host Chicago Cubs on Saturday. After recording a pair of hits in a series-opening loss, McNeil had two more in Friday's 5-4 win - including a two-run homer and the go-ahead RBI single in the seventh.

Christian Vazquez is having a breakout season and made sure the Boston Red Sox would keep their current hot streak alive with a walk-off homer on Friday in extra innings. Vazquez and the Red Sox will try to keep rolling when they host the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday in the second of a three-game series.

The Philadelphia Phillies' offensive issues didn't end when they went up against the worst team in the National League on Friday, and the switch at the top of the order is not yet producing results. The Phillies will try to snap out of the funk and end a five-game slide when they host the Miami Marlins in the second of a three-game series on Saturday.

Having posted back-to-back victories for only the second time this month, the Pittsburgh Pirates will be seeking their longest winning streak since taking three straight from the San Diego Padres on May 17-19. The Pirates also can make it five in a row over the visiting Padres when the teams resume their three-game series Saturday afternoon at PNC Park.

The Tampa Bay Rays attempt to post consecutive wins for the first time in nearly two weeks when they visit the Oakland Athletics on Saturday afternoon for the third contest of their four-game series. Tampa Bay began its trek with four straight losses and had dropped eight of 10 overall before posting a 5-3 triumph on Friday.

The Cleveland Indians have a chance to move a season-high six games above .500 when they continue a three-game series against the visiting Detroit Tigers on Saturday afternoon. The Indians have won six of eight overall, including four straight against the Tigers over that span, after erasing a three-run deficit and squeezing out a 7-6 victory in the series opener.
Cincinnati at Milwaukee 4:10 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds are starting to look a lot like a playoff contender this month and hope to continue making up ground when they visit the Milwaukee Brewers for the third of a four-game series Saturday afternoon. The Reds recorded 10 hits in an 11-7 victory on Friday and have scored 39 times during a season-high six-game winning streak to move within striking distance of first place in the National League Central.
Baltimore at Seattle 4:10 PM ET
Mired in their worst losing streak in nearly a decade, the Baltimore Orioles look to end the skid Saturday when they continue their four-game series against the host Seattle Mariners. Baltimore rallied from a seven-run deficit Friday before losing 10-9 and has been outscored 90-37 during its 10-game losing streak.

Juan Soto has overcome a slow start to the season and found his stride for the Washington Nationals, who look to lock up a series victory at home on Saturday against the Atlanta Braves following another good effort from their 20-year-old outfielder. Soto finished 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Friday’s 4-3 victory to raise his batting average to .376 with 10 doubles, five homers, 19 RBIs and 27 runs scored since May 17, when he was hitting just .228.

Two division leaders moving in totally opposite directions meet Saturday night when the slumping Houston Astros visit the red-hot New York Yankees for the third of a four-game set. The Yankees extended their winning streak to seven games with a 4-1 victory Friday as Gleyber Torres and Gary Sanchez each homered for the third straight contest while Houston has dropped six in a row - its longest losing streak since 2015.
Colorado at LA Dodgers 7:15 PM ET
Matt Beaty was sent down to the minors on Thursday, recalled the following day before leaving town and ended the night as a hero for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Beaty hit a game-winning, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning in the series opener, and the Dodgers look to ride the momentum when they host the Colorado Rockies on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set.
Chi. White Sox at Texas 9:05 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox look to register their eighth win in 12 games when they visit the Texas Rangers on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. The White Sox notched a 5-4, 10-inning triumph in the series opener to improve their solid road record to 20-17.

Things have not been going well for the Arizona Diamondbacks of late, and they may have gotten even worse. Arizona could be without the red-hot Ketel Marte when it attempts to end their five-game losing streak Saturday in the middle contest of a three-game series against the visiting San Francisco Giants.
