Ryan O'Reilly, Alexandre Carrier and Juuso Parssinen scored consecutive goals for the host Nashville Predators, who pulled away for a 4-2 victory over the Calgary Flames on Wednesday.

Colton Sissons also scored for the Predators, who have won three straight games for the first time this season. Goaltender Juuse Saros made 24 saves, and Ryan McDonagh collected two assists.

Noah Hanifin and Yegor Sharangovich tallied for the Flames and goalie Jacob Markstrom stopped 41 shots, including a third-period penalty shot from Kiefer Sherwood.

Sissons opened the scoring with a short-handed goal 2:33 into the clash. A glaring Jonathan Huberdeau turnover at the Nashville blue line sent the Predators away, and Sissons netted his sixth of the season with a shot from inside the right circle.

Hanifin replied just over two minutes later with his fourth of the campaign. He sneaked deep into the offensive zone from his point position for a cross-ice pass from Andrew Mangiapane and buried the opportunity.

O'Reilly restored the Nashville lead with his ninth goal of the campaign at the 11:23 mark of the back-and-forth first period. Markstrom failed to prevent the puck from bounding from the end boards to the front of the net, and O'Reilly was on the spot.

Carrier's first of the season at 11:56 of the extended the lead. Nashville's Filip Forsberg caught the puck behind the net and threw it to the front, where it was touched by a defender, negating the hand pass, and Carrier whacked it home. The Flames called for a review, but it was denied.

Parssinen notched a power-play goal with 2:38 remaining in regulation, his third of the season, to make it a three-goal edge.

Sharangovich scored a short-handed tally with 45 seconds remaining to round out the scoring, but it was too little, too late.
