Brandon Duhaime scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period and notched an assist, and the Minnesota Wild rallied for a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders on Sunday night in Saint Paul, Minn.

Ryan Hartman and Matt Dumba also finished with a goal and an assist for Minnesota, which notched four unanswered goals in the third period to earn its second win in as many nights. Nick Bjugstad scored for the Wild, while Jonas Brodin and Dumba added empty-net goals to seal the win.

Anders Lee scored both goals for New York, and Mathew Barzal collected a pair of assists. New York's seven-game point streak came to an end as it lost in regulation for the first time since Oct. 16.

Minnesota pulled ahead 3-2 with 10:42 left in the third period. Duhaime carried the puck into the offensive zone and fired a wrist shot above Semyon Varlamov's glove for the second goal of his rookie campaign.

Brodin and Dumba also scored their second goals of the season.

The Islanders opened the scoring in the final minute of the first period. Zdeno Chara's shot from near the blue line was blocked, but Lee pounced on the loose puck and knocked it in from the low slot.

Minnesota evened the score at 1-1 at 9:59 of the second period. Duhaime settled the puck in the right circle, wheeled and ripped a wrist shot through traffic that Bjugstad redirected for his second goal.

New York scored 2:05 later to pull back ahead 2-1. During a rush into the offensive zone, Barzal flipped a saucer pass over Dumba's stick, and Lee buried a one-timer for his second goal of the game and fourth of the season.

The Wild evened the score at 2-2 with 12:43 remaining in the third period. Hartman's initial shot was stopped, but he followed the rebound and lifted a wrist shot above Varlamov's glove.

It was the second goal in as many nights for Hartman, who has six goals in 11 games this season after scoring seven goals in 51 games last season with the Wild.
