Tuukka Rask made 23 saves to improve to 11-0-2 in his past 13 starts, and the visiting Boston Bruins won their fifth straight game, beating the Los Angeles Kings 4-2 on Saturday night.

Jake DeBrusk and Patrice Bergeron each had a goal and an assist, David Krejci had two assists, and Charlie McAvoy and Brad Marchand also scored for the Bruins, who moved ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs for second place in the Atlantic Division.

Ilya Kovalchuk and Alex Iafallo scored for the Kings, who missed an opportunity to move out of last place in the Western Conference. Los Angeles goalie Jonathan Quick was a late scratch because of an illness, and Jack Campbell made 20 saves in his place.

McAvoy broke a 2-2 tie at with 1:13 remaining in the game, and Bergeron scored with 37 seconds left to make it 4-2.

Iafallo had tied the score at 2-2 with 4:23 left when he put in a rebound off a shot from defenseman Paul LaDue.

Boston took a 2-1 lead after Bergeron won a faceoff to Marchand, who scored on a one-timer from the inside edge of the right circle at 16:15 of the second period.

Jaroslav Halak shut out the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night to open Boston's season-high, five-game road trip, and Rask blanked the Kings until Kovalchuk scored at 10:37 of the second period to tie the game at 1-1.

The Kings were on their second power play when Kovalchuk received a pass in the left circle. He faked a pass out top and then fired the puck past Rask, with Jeff Carter providing a screen.

Carter had missed the previous five games with a lower-body injury.

For the second straight game, the Bruins took a 1-0 lead.

Peter Cehlarik brought the puck down the right side and into the Los Angeles zone. He flipped the puck into the slot, and LaDue was in good position to interrupt the pass, but it got through to DeBrusk, who scored on a one-timer at 5:31 of the first period for his third goal in three games.
