Bruins 2, Sabres 0: David Krejci snapped a scoreless tie with 7:06 remaining in the third period and Anton Khudobin made 26 saves as Boston posted just its second win in seven road games.

Nathan Horton scored and set up a goal and Krejci added an assist for the Bruins, who are 3-4-1 in their last eight overall.

Khudobin turned aside six shots in the first period, 13 in the second and seven in the third en route to his second career shutout. The 26-year-old Russian blanked Vancouver on Jan. 16, 2011 while with Minnesota.

Neither team was able to solve the other's goaltender until Krejci broke through, knocking in the rebound of Horton's shot from the doorstep for his eighth goal. The duo teamed up again 2:50 later as Horton redirected a perfect backhand pass by Krejci from the outer edge of the left faceoff circle.

Ryan Miller finished with 29 saves for the Sabres, whose winless streak reached four games. Buffalo failed to earn a point for the first time in six home contests (3-1-2).
