After falling behind 6-0 with 6:01 remaining in the first quarter, Minnesota scored 24 of the next 30 points, capping the run on a 71-yard touchdown pass from Cousins to Jefferson with 8:04 to go in the third quarter to take a 24-12 lead.

Tennessee responded with a pair of 1-yard Henry scoring runs over a three-minute span to take a 25-24 lead into the fourth quarter.

Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan left the game late in the first quarter with a shoulder injury and didn't return. Lewan appeared to make contact with two Vikings defenders in a pile on a running play. Titans medical personnel tended to his neck and shoulder. He was taken to the locker room by cart at the start of the second quarter and replaced by Ty Sambrailo.

Dan Bailey kicked a 41-yard field goal with 1:45 remaining in the second quarter as the Vikings took a 17-9 lead into the halftime. He missed wide right from 49 yards in the third quarter, snapping a streak of 25 consecutive makes.
