Stefon Diggs caught three of Kirk Cousins' four touchdown passes Sunday as the Minnesota Vikings defeated the visiting Philadelphia Eagles 38-20.

Diggs, the subject of trade rumors over the last two weeks, had seven receptions for 167 yards in his first career three-touchdown effort.

Minnesota (4-2) quickly took charge. On the first possession of the game, Cousins led the Vikings down the field before finding Adam Thielen for a 6-yard score.

The Minnesota defense then forced a three-and-out, and the Vikings capitalized with Dan Bailey's 39-yard field goal to go up 10-0.

Jake Elliott answered with a 53-yard field goal to get the Eagles (3-3) on the board early in the second quarter, but it soon became the Diggs show.

On the second play of Minnesota's third drive, Cousins found Diggs on a skinny post for a 62-yard touchdown. One play after a turnover on downs for Philadelphia, Cousins and Diggs hooked up again on a play-action pass for a 51-yard score.

Diggs became the first Vikings player with two touchdown catches of 50-plus yards in a game since Randy Moss in 2000.

Carson Wentz hit Miles Sanders for a 32-yard touchdown soon after to cut the lead to 24-10. With 20 seconds left in the half, the Eagles lined up for a 39-yard field goal, but Philadelphia called a fake, and Elliott's pass was intercepted.

The Eagles scored 10 straight points to start the second half and cut the lead to four, but then the Vikings took over. Cousins found Diggs for an 11-yard TD and then Dalvin Cook scampered into the end zone to take a 38-20 lead.

Cousins had his second straight 300-yard game, finishing with 333 passing yards and one interception, which went off Diggs' hands. Wentz was 26 of 40 for 306 yards and two touchdowns and a pick for Philadelphia.

Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks led the Minnesota defense. Barr had 10 tackles and a big fumble recovery in the fourth quarter, and Kendricks had 10 tackles and two pass deflections.
