The resurgent Indianapolis Colts are about to blow their No. 1 draft pick.

The Colts became the first one-win team in NFL history to beat a team with 10 wins as Dan Orlovsky capped a penalty-filled drive with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Wayne with 19 seconds left as Indianapolis stunned the visiting Houston Texans 19-16 on Thursday night.

Houston (10-5) lost its second straight and fell to 0-10 all time in Indianapolis. The defeat likely cost Houston a shot at the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Neil Rackers extended the lead to 16-12 late in the fourth quarter but the Texans, who have already wrapped up the AFC South title, couldn’t stop Orlovsky on the final drive.

Wayne caught a 34-yard pass and the Texans were hit with three big penalties on the final drive.

The Colts trailed throughout the game. Brian Cushing sacked Orlovsky on the first play from scrimmage and forced him to fumble the ball away.

Arian Foster scored two plays later to give Houston the quick 7-0 lead.

Foster rushed for 158 yards on 23 carries but the Texans fizzled in the red zone all night. After Foster’s touchdown, it was all field goals until the Colts’ final drive, when they went 78 yards in a minute, 37 seconds to pull off the upset.

Houston led 13-9 after three quarters but the Colts, who won their first game last week, played solid defense and kept chipping away at the Texans’ lead.

Adam Vinatieri’s fourth field goal of the night capped a promising drive that stalled in large part to a holding call deep in the red zone as Indy trimmed the deficit to 13-12.

Despite the win, the Colts (2-13) are still in the hunt for the NFL’s No. 1 draft pick, expected to be Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
