Jonathan Song kicked four field goals, the final one a decisive 20-yarder with 5:38 to play, and Max Duggan passed for 323 yards and two touchdowns as TCU held off Texas Tech 33-31 in Big 12 play at Lubbock, Texas.

Duggan also ran for 75 yards and a score to lead the Horned Frogs (5-5, 3-4 Big 12) to the victory. Taye Barber had eight catches for 137 yards for TCU, which beat Texas Tech on the South Plains for the third consecutive time.

It's the fifth straight time that the road team has won in this series.

In a game that came down to two points, the Red Raiders' missed PAT and two failed two-point conversions proved to be the difference.

Jett Duffey passed for 333 yards and four touchdowns for Texas Tech. R.J. Turner caught three passes for 116 yards and two of those scores.

The first quarter belonged to the Horned Frogs, who used a 20-yard touchdown run by Duggan, a 36-yard field goal by Song, and a 4-yard touchdown pass from Duggan to Artayvious Lynn to build 17-0 lead.

Trey Wolff got the Red Raiders (4-6, 2-5 Big 12) on the board with a 36-yard field goal 2:05 into the second quarter but TCU immediately responded, with Duggan hitting Jalen Reagor on a 55-yard scoring catch-and-run just 73 seconds later.

Duffey threw two TD passes in the second quarter -- a 26-yard strike to Dalton Rigdon and a 70-yard catch-and run to Turner with 1:55 remaining in the half -- to bring the Red Raiders back to within 24-16. Song booted a 28-yard FG with two seconds left in to push TCU's lead to 11 points at the break.

Duffey hit Turner with a 32-yard touchdown pass to cap the Red Raiders' opening possession of the third quarter and then found a wide-open Erik Ezukanma for a 33-yard score with 5:05 to play in the quarter to allow Texas Tech to jump to a 28-27 lead.

The two teams exchanged field goals, and the lead, in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter, with Song converting from 25 yards out and Wolfe answering from 24 on the ensuing possession.
