Their 496 rushing yards were the second-best total in school history.

Dillon recorded his fourth career 200-yard performance and second in three games. He also set a school career record with his 35th rushing touchdown on a 51-yard run with six minutes left in the first half, the first of his three scores.

Tommy DeVito passed for 289 yards and three touchdowns and Trishton Jackson had eight receptions for 148 yards and two scores for Syracuse (3-6, 0-5 ACC Coastal), which has lost four in a row.

DeVito, who also ran for 61 yards, extended his streak of passes without an interception to 131. He had the fourth-longest streak in the FBS entering Saturday.

Boston College had four scoring plays of at least 50 yards, all in the second quarter - Bailey's 74-yard run, Dillon's 51-yard run and Grosel's 64- and 50-yard passes to Kobay White and Zay Flowers, respectively.

Syracuse scored 10 points after two Boston College turnovers late in the first quarter for a 17-10 lead on DeVito's 26-yard pass to Jackson before the Eagles scored touchdowns on all five of their second-quarter possessions for a 44-20 halftime lead.

Dillon scored on 5-yard run on the first possession of the second half to make it 51-20, and his 2-yard run in the first minute of the fourth quarter gave the Eagles a 58-27 lead.
