Baylor improved to 2-0 Saturday with a 37-20 win over Texas-San Antonio, continuing to successfully employ a two-quarterback system to get the job done.

The Bears got three touchdown passes from sophomore Charlie Brewer and senior Jalan McClendon, the star of the opener, completed 3 of his 6 pass attempts.

UTSA beat Baylor 17-10 on the Bears' home field last season in Matt Rhule's first year overseeing the program. Baylor improved to 2-0 after winning only one game last season.

UTSA cut the Baylor lead to 27-20 in the fourth quarter when Cordale Grundy found Blaze Moorhead for a 10-yard touchdown.

Baylor came right back with an extended 78-yard drive led by Brewer, resulting in a field goal, and added another score -- JaMycal Hasty's second TD in the game -- for the final margin.

The Bears face Duke (2-0) next week.
