Senior Jake Browning passed for 313 yards and two touchdowns to help No. 9 Washington cruise to a 45-3 win over visiting North Dakota on Saturday in Seattle.

Sophomore receiver Ty Jones caught his first two career scoring passes as the Huskies (1-1) totaled 632 yards of offense while bouncing back from a season-opening loss to Auburn.

Senior Myles Gaskin and sophomores Sean McGrew and Kamari Pleasant rushed for touchdowns and redshirt freshman tight end Cade Otton recorded his first career scoring reception for Washington.

Senior John Santiago rushed for 139 yards on 18 carries for North Dakota (1-1). Junior quarterback Nate Ketteringham completed 16 of 30 passes for 96 yards for the FCS program.

Sophomore cornerback Hayden Blubaugh and junior safety Hayden Galvin each recorded interceptions of Browning.

The Fighting Hawks had 262 yards of total offense while dropping to 1-10 all-time against FBS programs.

Washington struck first with eight minutes left in the first quarter on Browning's 4-yard scoring pass to Jones. Redshirt freshman Peyton Henry tacked on a 29-yard field goal to make it 10-0 with 3:32 remaining in the quarter.

The Huskies increased their lead to 17 points when Gaskin scored on a 2-yard run around right end with 6:52 left in the half.

North Dakota got on the board on a 20-yard field goal by redshirt freshman Brady Leach with 6:09 left in the third quarter. A 69-yard run by Sanchez set up the score.

Washington responded with an immediate touchdown and added three more in the final stanza.

Otton slid into the right flat to catch a 1-yard scoring pass from Browning with 3:35 remaining in the third quarter. McGrew scored on a 23-yard dash to give the Huskies a 31-3 lead with 12:50 left in the contest.

Browning's day was done and the quarterbacking was turned out over to redshirt freshman Jake Haener, who completed five straight passes for 74 yards on his first college drive. He capped the excursion by hitting Jones for a 12-yard score with 8:24 left.

Pleasant added a 23-yard touchdown run with 2:13 left.

Haener finished 7-of-7 passing for 110 yards.
