BYU (18-7, 6-6) outscored Oklahoma State 21-5 in second-chance points but shot just 8 of 35 from 3-point range en route to suffering its second straight road loss.

BYU whittled a 20-point deficit to single digits in the final minutes, pulling within nine points multiple times. The final time came when Hall made a 3-pointer in the final minute to cut the deficit to 90-81.

Garrison and Wright combined for three free throws to ice the victory.

Wright knocked down a 3-pointer and Williams threw down back-to-back dunks to ignite a 18-5 run that gave Oklahoma State a 29-16 lead midway through the first half. Wright scored two more baskets to keep the run going.

The Cowboys shot 61.3 percent from the field over the game's first 20 minutes, and went 8 of 14 from 3-point range. BYU, on the other hand, struggled to keep it close after going 2 of 16 from beyond the arc before halftime.

The Cougars cut the deficit to 35-29 when Noah Waterman capped a 9-0 run with an outside basket.

Oklahoma State countered with four straight successful field-goal attempts, highlighted by three consecutive 3-pointers from Wright and Small, to take a 49-34 halftime lead.
