Antonio Reeves scored a career-high 37 points to fuel No. 23 Kentucky to an 88-79 victory over Arkansas on Saturday afternoon in Fayetteville, Ark.

Reeves made 12 of 17 field goals -- including 2 of 4 from 3-point range -- and all 11 of his free-throws attempts while playing all 40 minutes. Reeves has been taking on more responsibilities with the absence of injured fellow guards Sahvir Wheeler and Cason Wallace.

Jacob Toppin added 21 points and Oscar Tshiebwe collected 12 points and 13 rebounds before fouling out for the Wildcats (21-10, 12-6 Southeastern Conference), who secured one of the four double-byes in next week's SEC tournament.

Nick Smith Jr. scored 25 points, Ricky Council IV contributed 16, Anthony Black had 14 and Jordan Walsh added 10 to lead the Razorbacks (19-12, 8-10).

Davonte Davis made a 3-pointer to get the Razorbacks within three points barely a minute into the second half, but moments later the starting guard was ejected after being called for two technical fouls.

Reeves made all four technical free throws and added a jumper for a six-point possession that gave Kentucky a 48-39 lead.

His layup pushed the lead to 12 before Walsh and Smith made consecutive 3-pointers during a 7-0 run that got Arkansas within 55-50 midway through the half.

Toppin's 3-pointer ended a four-minute scoring drought for the Wildcats and Adou Thiero added a dunk that increased the lead to 10 points.

The closest the Razorbacks got the rest of the way was six points.

A layup by Tshiebwe and a three-point play by Toppin gave Kentucky a 17-10 lead.

Arkansas pulled within three on a dunk by Walsh before Reeves' 3-pointer gave the Wildcats a 28-20 lead.

Back-to-back dunks by Council cut the lead to four before Tshiebwe answered with a dunk.

The Razorbacks trimmed the lead to two points three more times, but Daimion Collins' layup gave Kentucky a 40-36 halftime lead.
