Stanford's Spencer Jones hit a 3-pointer to cap an 8-2 Stanford run to open the second half as the Cardinal sent host Oregon State to its ninth straight defeat, 76-65, Saturday night in Corvallis, Ore.

Harrison Ingram (16), Jones (15), Jaiden Delaire (14) and Maxime Raynaud (10) combined for 55 points on 21-for-31 shooting from the field to lead the Cardinal (15-10, 8-7 Pac-12) past the struggling Beavers (3-19, 1-11).

Jones added eight rebounds while Ingram contributed six rebounds and nine assists for Stanford, which finished the game shooting 29-49 (59.2 percent), including 10-23 (43.5 percent) from 3-point range.

Once again, the Beavers didn't shoot many 3s (14), making only five from long range. Oregon State now has attempted 159 fewer 3-pointers than their opponents this season.

The Beavers' Jarod Lucas, who misfired on a potential go-ahead 3-pointer with two seconds remaining Wednesday against California, led all scorers with 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting.

Warith Alatishe chipped in with 14 points and Ahmad Rand finished with 10 for Oregon State, which remains winless in 2022.

The Beavers, who had won three of the prior four meetings with the Cardinal, played a relatively clean game with only seven turnovers but were outrebounded 34-19.

Stanford's extra effort at the offensive end loomed large. The Cardinal grabbed 10 offensive rebounds to the Beavers' five and turned that into an 18-2 advantage in second-chance points.

After spotting Oregon State four points to begin the game, Stanford reeled off a 14-4 run. The Beavers quickly answered, though, setting the tone for a back-and-forth first half that included seven ties and 11 lead changes.

Jones' first 3-pointer of the game broke a tie at 32 with just 42 seconds remaining the first half. Oregon State's Glenn Taylor Jr. hit a pair of free throws before Ingram's short jumper gave the Cardinal a 37-34 lead at intermission.

Lucas led all scorers at halftime with 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting.
