Blake Wesley scored 22 points and Notre Dame shot 63.3 percent from the field to snap a six-game losing streak against host Louisville with an 82-70 road victory on Saturday.

Dane Goodwin and Paul Atkinson Jr. each added 13 points for the Fighting Irish (12-6, 5-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who hit 31 of 49 shots, including 15 of 23 (65.2 percent) from 3-point range.

Jarrod West scored 14 points and Malik Williams added 11 for the Cardinals (11-8, 5-4 ACC), who shot 47.5 percent overall (28 of 59) and 47.6 percent (10 of 21) from long distance.

The Irish rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to win for the eighth time in nine games. After committing eight first-half turnovers, they had only three in the second half.

The game included 15 lead changes until Notre Dame went ahead with little more than eight minutes remaining and never trailed after that.

The Irish scored six straight points following a media timeout to build its largest lead (76-64) to that point with 4:20 remaining. They never led by less than 11 points the rest of the way.

Trailing 62-59, Notre Dame went on an 12-2 run that built a seven-point edge with 6:51 to go. Wesley scored six points, including one trey and one three-point play, to fuel the spurt.

Notre Dame had lost their three previous trips to Louisville since winning in 2015.

West sank all four 3-point tries and scored 14 points to help Louisville take a 45-38 halftime lead. The Cardinals shot 51.5 percent overall (17 of 33) during the first 20 minutes.

Goodwin and Wesley each scored 10 points for Irish, who sank 15 of 23 shots (65.2 percent).

Both teams were blistering from 3-point range in the first half -- Louisville hit 9 of 13, and Notre Dame was 7 of 9.

A key factor in the first half was points off turnovers. The Cardinals scored 10 points off eight Notre Dame turnovers, and the Irish scored three points off three Louisville TOs.
