Tari Eason scored 21 points and LSU finished the first half with a flurry in an 84-65 victory against Georgia on Wednesday night in Baton Rouge, La.

Darius Days collected 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Tigers (19-7, 7-6 Southeastern Conference), who recorded 16 steals and forced 26 turnovers to win their third straight game.

Kario Oquendo scored 21 of his 26 points in the second half to lead the Bulldogs (6-20, 1-12), who lost their sixth game in a row.

Noah Baumann made a 3-pointer just 13 seconds into the second half, which was the Bulldogs' first field goal since the 7:28 mark of the first half.

That cut the Tigers' lead to 13 points. That was the closest Georgia would get for the rest of the game.

Days made two straight LSU baskets during a 10-0 run that expanded the Tigers' lead to 53-29.

Aaron Cook made one of two free throws to end the run for the Bulldogs, whose scoring drought that lasted 4:07.

But by the time Dalen Ridgnal's layup ended a four-minute field-goal drought for Georgia, LSU had built a 56-34 lead. The Tigers went on to lead by as many as 32 points.

The lead changed five times and the score was tied three times before Baumann's 3-pointer helped the Bulldogs take a 15-10 lead.

Days made a jumper and added an assist to start a 9-0 run by the Tigers.

Georgia briefly regained the lead at 20-19, but Eason scored seven points during a 17-0 run that gave LSU a 36-20 lead.

Oquendo's two free throws ended a six-minute scoring drought for the Bulldogs, but Days answered with a field goal that pushed the Tigers lead to 38-22 at halftime.

Georgia made only five field goals in the first half, four of which were 3-pointers, and it turned the ball over 15 times, leading to 20 LSU points. The Tigers had seven steals.
