Jaden Ivey hit a step-back 3-pointer with five seconds left to lift Purdue to a 67-65 win at No. 15 Ohio State on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio, extending the Boilermakers' winning streak to four games.

Ivey's shot broke a 64-64 tie.

Ohio State's Duane Washington Jr. made the first of two free throws with 2.4 seconds left. He intentionally missed the second, but Purdue (11-5, 6-3 Big Ten) grabbed the rebound to defeat a top-15 team on the road for the first time since Feb. 25, 2012, at Michigan.

Trevion Williams led the Boilermakers with 16 points. Ivey and Sasha Stefanovic each had 15.

Washington scored 14 of his 21 points in the first half for the Buckeyes (11-4, 5-4), who had a three-game winning streak end. Justin Ahrens added 12 points and E.J. Liddell had 11.

After Ivey connected on a jumper pull Purdue to within 60-59, Liddell made a free throw and Ahrens hit a 3-pointer as Ohio State expanded the lead to 64-59. Williams countered with a basket and Stefanovic tied it at 64 on a 3-pointer with 52 seconds to play.

Purdue forced a missed 3-point try by Ahrens to get possession with 27 seconds remaining, setting up the winning shot.

The Boilermakers also defeated the Buckeyes 67-60 at home on Dec. 16 in the conference openers for each team.

Purdue survived an onslaught by Washington to cut an 11-point deficit to 37-31 at the half.

With the score tied at 21, the Buckeyes reeled off 11 points in a row. Washington had eight of them with two treys and a basket, and Ahrens hit a 3-pointer.

After Eric Hunter Jr. stopped the surge with a layup and Williams made a free throw, Washington launched another triple to give Ohio State another 11-point lead, 35-24, with 2:54 to go.

Purdue plays for the third time in six days when it hosts No. 7 Michigan on Friday. The Buckeyes play at No. 10 Wisconsin on Saturday.
