RayQuan Evans finished with a career-high 24 points and six rebounds as 11 different players scored for host Florida State in a 105-73 victory over the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Wednesday night in Tallahassee.

The Seminoles (6-2, 2-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) played their first game in 15 days due to a COVID-19 positive test and contact tracing within the program, and they won their 19th consecutive game against an ACC opponent at home.

Florida State showed no rust, scoring over 100 points for the first time since Nov. 25, 2019 in a 113-56 win over Chicago State and for the first time against an ACC opponent since Jan. 27, 2018 in a 103-94 overtime win against Miami.

M.J. Walker had 19 points and four assists as four Seminoles scored in double figures. Nathanael Jack finished with 18 points and Scottie Barnes totaled 11 points off the bench.

Trailing 9-8 with 17:08 to go in the first half, Florida State outscored NC State 31-6 over the next 11 minutes and 24 seconds to take control of the game for good. The Seminoles shot 20 of 28 (71.4 percent) in the first half and 70.7 percent (41-for-58) for the game. Florida State shot 12-for-18 from 3-point range and went a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line.

Barnes and RaiQuan Gray helped Florida State use its size and length to control the paint against the Wolfpack (6-4, 2-3), who played without injured 6-11 forward Manny Bates (ankle) and lost their third consecutive game. The Seminoles outrebounded the Wolfpack 32-19 and finished with 24 assists while NC State totaled 10.

Jericole Hellems hit a pair of 3-pointers on NC State's first couple of possessions, but he was held in check by A Seminoles defense which returned to form after allowing 81.5 points per game in recent defeats against Clemson and Central Florida.

Hellems finished with 12 points, six rebounds and two steals, but the Wolfpack were paced by Thomas Allen, who finished with 16 points on 6 of 8 shooting off the bench.
