It was the largest margin of victory ever for the Hokies against an ACC opponent.

Besides Aluma, the Hokies got 15 points from Tyrece Radford. Nahiem Alleyne added 13 points and a game-high five assists.

Virginia Tech started the game by shooting 83.3 percent from the floor -- sinking 15-of-18 -- to take a 35-17 lead with 6:09 left in the first half.

The Hokies finished the first half on a 14-0 run, holding a 49-22 lead at halftime. The 49 points marked Tech's season high, and the Hokies also shot a season-best 67.9 percent from the floor for the opening 20 minutes.
