Jermaine Couisnard's season-high 23 points helped South Carolina snap their six-game losing streak and beat Georgia for the 10th straight time, courtesy of a 91-70 rout on Saturday in Athens, Ga.

South Carolina (6-12 overall, 4-10 SEC) shot 53.6 percent for the game en route to posting a season high in points.

Keyshawn Bryant had 17 points and Trae Hannibal and A.J. Lawson added 15 and 11, respectively, for the Gamecocks, who won for the first time since Feb. 3 at Florida.

South Carolina's last loss to Georgia was a 65-64 decision on March 11, 2016, in the SEC tournament quarterfinals in Nashville, Tenn.

Georgia (14-10, 7-10) made just 36.7 percent of its shot attempts and had its four-game home winning streak snapped. P.J. Horne scored 17 points and Justin Kier had 16.

Coming off the Bulldogs' first triple-double ever, point guard Sahvir Wheeler netted just seven points but set a school record for single-season assists.

Seldom-used big man Tre-Vaughn Minott started for the Gamecocks and keyed a 12-4 start inside the first five minutes with six points and three rebounds.

A steal and three-point play by K.D. Johnson gave Georgia its first lead -- 17-15 -- at 11:43, but the lead was a brief one as the Gamecocks embarked on an 11-2 run.

Hannibal's quick, one-touch pass to Wildens Leveque in the closing seconds of the half left the visitors up 41-29.

After shooting just 29 percent from the field in Wednesday's 21-point defeat at Mississippi State, South Carolina connected on 53 percent in the first 20 minutes.

The Bulldogs made a strong 16-9 run to open the second half, moving them to within five after Horne's free throw. The Gamecocks immediately moved the lead back to nine at 12:21.

Wheeler set up Kier's 3-pointer to give him 170 assists this season, passing Pertha Robinson's high mark set in 1995.

South Carolina remained in command in the second half, increasing its lead to a game-high 25 points late and cruising to the win.
