Junior center Joey Brunk added 16 points and junior forward Justin Smith had 15 points for the Hoosiers (14-4, 4-3 Big Ten), who picked up their first road win of the season.

Sophomore point guard Cam Mack led four Nebraska scorers in double figures with 20 points.

The Huskers (7-11, 2-5) rallied from down 19 points in the second half to cut Indiana's lead to six points three times in the closing minutes. But after Nebraska forced an Indiana turnover on an inbounds play with 36 seconds left down 80-74, Mack was unable to hit an open 3-pointer with 30 seconds left.

Jackson-Davis grabbed the rebound, was fouled, and made a pair of free throws with 27 seconds to help the Hoosiers seal the win.

Indiana dominated the game on the boards, outrebounding Nebraska 47-30. The Hoosiers grabbed 12 offensive rebounds.

Nebraska took an early nine-point lead, going up 23-14 on a 3-pointer from freshman forward Kevin Cross. But the Hoosiers rallied back. Freshman forward Jerome Hunter made a pair of 3-pointers off the bench for Indiana, the second of which cut Nebraska's lead to 26-23.

A 3-pointer from Indiana freshman guard Armaan Franklin then tied the score at 30, and IU regained the lead, 32-30 on a Franklin layup in transition. After Nebraska went back up 34-33, Indiana answered with a 9-0 run, going up 42-34 on an alley-oop laying by Jackson-Davis from senior guard Devonte Green.

Mack kept Nebraska in the game by scoring 17 points, including a 3-pointer that cut Indiana's lead to 44-40 with 53 seconds left in the first half. But Jackson-Davis answered with a 14-foot jumper with 11 seconds left to put Indiana up 46-40, and the Hoosiers took a 46-41 lead into halftime.
