Josh Nebo scored 17 points Tuesday night as Texas A&M rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to top Mississippi 57-47 in a Southeastern Conference game in College Station, Texas.

The Aggies (7-6, 1-1) won it on the defensive end, limiting the Rebels (9-5, 0-1) to just nine points for nearly the first 15 minutes of the second half and taking their own 10-point lead with 4:35 left on a 3-pointer by Andre Gordon.

Ole Miss pulled within 51-47 when Breein Tyree canned his sixth 3-ball of the game with 52.6 seconds left. But Savion Flagg responded with a pair of free throws with 47.4 seconds remaining to restore a six-point edge.

Nebo and Jay Jay Chandler each tacked on two more foul shots after that as Texas A&M gave coach Buzz Williams his first SEC win. Flagg joined Nebo in double figures with 11. Nebo and Emanuel Miller each pulled down nine rebounds as the Aggies won the glass 41-36.

Tyree poured in a game-high 26 points on 10-of-19 shooting, but he didn't get enough help. Devontae Shuler added 12 points and six assists for the Rebels, which made only 30 percent from the field and 7 of 27 from the 3-point line.

After Shuler made a layup to give Ole Miss a 32-21 advantage with 17:57 left in the game, Texas A&M ripped off 15 straight points over a 6:17 span. Wendell Mitchell's jumper with 12:11 remaining gave it the lead for good at 34-32.

Tyree's layup pulled the Rebels within 39-38 at the 8:55 mark, but the Aggies rattled off a 10-1 run to give themselves a cushion for Ole Miss' last push.

Tyree was the name of the game in the first half, single-handedly carrying the Rebels to a 29-19 halftime lead by pumping in 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including 5 of 7 from the 3-point line. Texas A&M, which averages less than 60 points per game, hit only 7 of 26 in the first half.
