No. 13 Virginia 57, Virginia Tech 53: Malcolm Brogdon scored 12 points and London Perrantes added 11 as the visiting Cavaliers rallied for their 10th straight victory.

Justin Anderson scored all nine of his points in the final four minutes for Virginia (22-5, 13-1 ACC), which won its fifth in a row against the Hokies and posted its first 10-game ACC winning streak since 1981-82. The Cavaliers held the Hokies to eight points in the final seven minutes en route to their school-record seventh ACC road win.

Joey Van Zegeren scored a career-high 13 points along with seven rebounds for Virginia Tech (9-16, 2-11), which committed 14 turnovers and lost for the 11th time in its last 12 games. Devin Wilson had 13 points and five assists while Ben Emelogu chipped in eight points.

Virginia Tech shot 50 percent in the first half and led 28-21 at the break, but the Cavaliers heated up and cut the deficit to 43-41 with just over nine minutes remaining when Harris and Brogdon hit back-to-back 3-pointers. Harris then gave the Cavaliers their first lead since midway through the first half at 48-46 when he drilled a 3-pointer with just over two minutes to play.

Akil Mitchell had seven points and a game-high 10 rebounds for Virginia, which took control late after shooting 34.8 percent from the field and 3-of-13 from 3-point range in the first half. The Cavaliers prevailed despite a poor shooting performance by their top two scorers - Brogdon and Harris - who were a combined 5-for-21 from the field.
