Colorado 60, No. 17 Baylor 58: Askia Booker scored a career-high 19 points and Spencer Dinwiddie made key plays down the stretch as the Buffaloes edged the Bears in the semifinals of the Charleston (S.C.) Classic.

Dinwiddie scored seven of his 11 points in the last 4:50 as Colorado (3-0) took a 57-51 lead and hung on despite poor free-throw shooting. Baylor (3-1) had two chances to tie the game, including Isaiah Austin’s shot off the rim at the buzzer.

Andre Roberson added seven points and 12 rebounds for the Buffaloes, who were just 4-of-18 from the charity stripe. Dinwiddie also had a big hand in holding Big 12 preseason player of the year Pierre Jackson to 12 points on 3-of-11 from the field. Jackson scored 31 in the first-round victory over Boston College.

Cory Jefferson led Baylor with 17 points, while Austin added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Booker scored the last five points during an 8-0 run to end the half as Colorado took a 35-30 lead. The sophomore guard went 7-of-11 from the field for 16 points in the opening 20 minutes and dished out three assists.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Brady Heslip, who made nine 3-pointers to beat Colorado 80-63 in the third round of the NCAA tournament last season, was held to 1-of-5 from 3-point range and seven points. … Colorado leads the series, 16-10. … Roberson went over 2,000 minutes in his career in just over two seasons.
