Roy Devyn Marble had a game-high 21 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead the host Hawkeyes past the Wildcats and to a sweep of the season series.

Josh Oglesby scored 10 points off the bench for Iowa (15-9, 4-7 Big Ten), which snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 12-2 at home. The Hawkeyes beat the Wildcats 70-50 at Northwestern on Jan. 13.

Northwestern (13-11, 4-7) fell to 3-4 on the road. Reggie Hearn scored 13 points and was the only Wildcat in double figures while Jared Swopshire added a game-high seven rebounds.

Iowa led 29-25 at halftime. Northwestern pulled as close as 40-38 on Kale Abrahamson’s 3-pointer with 12:03 left but the Hawkeyes produced a 31-19 run to seal the victory.

Iowa improved to 110-57 in the series. Northwestern came in having won five of the previous six meetings and three straight at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Northwestern shot 35.1 percent from the field after shooting a season-low 29.4 percent in the previous meeting against Iowa. … The Hawkeyes, who shot 48 percent from the field, are 14-3 when shooting 40 percent or better. … Iowa was 19-for-22 from the foul line, while Northwestern was 11-for-13.
