No. 4 Kansas 61, Baylor 44: Freshman Ben McLemore had 17 points before leaving the game with a twisted ankle and the host Jayhawks stifled the Bears to extend their home win streak to 32 games.

Senior Elijah Johnson added 12 points and senior Travis Releford had 10 for the Jayhawks (15-1, 3-0), who held Baylor to a season-low 44 points on 23.2 percent shooting. Kansas coach Bill Self said he hopes McLemore, the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week, will miss only 2-to-3 days.

Freshman Isaiah Austin led the Bears (11-5, 3-1) with 15 points and 11 rebounds and senior Pierre Jackson added 10 points.

McLemore had a 3-pointer and three-point play during a 10-0 run that put Kansas ahead 22-9 midway through the first half. After Baylor cut the lead to five with a 9-1 run with 5:39 left, the Jayhawks closed the half on a 10-2 run for a 33-20 advantage. Baylor never got closer in the second half.

The Jayhawks forced 16 turnovers and blocked 13 shots, the fourth time this season Kansas recorded double-digit blocks. Senior Jeff Withey and freshman Jamari Traylor each had three.
