Wisconsin 47, Nebraska 41:
Ryan Evans scored 10 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds to lead the Badgers to a fifth straight win in their Big Ten road opener over the Cornhuskers.

Jared Berggren scored 12 of his game-high 13 points in the second half and Wisconsin (11-4, 2-0) held Nebraska to just one field goal and three points over the final 6:16. The Badgers have now won eight of their last nine conference road openers, including the last two years in Lincoln.

Ray Gallegos and Dylan Talley led the Cornhuskers (9-6, 0-2) with 12 points apiece, but it was the long drought late in the game that was the undoing for Nebraska.

The Cornhuskers led 38-37 with 6:16 remaining, but did not score again until Brandon Ubel's 3-pointer cut the Wisconsin lead to 44-41 with one minute remaining.

Wisconsin won despite making only 3-of-13 free throw attempts and scoring a season-low 47 points.

NOTEBOOK: The game was tied 19-19 at halftime as the teams combined to commit only seven fouls and seven turnovers in the first half. ... Berggren, the Big Ten's leading shot blocker, had three on Sunday and now has 102 in his career. ... Nebraska has now been held under 50 points five times.
