Cashmere Wright scored 12 of his 18 points in the second half as the visiting Bearcats came from behind to knock off the Panthers.

Sean Kilpatrick added 16 points and JaQuon Parker scored 13 for Cincinnati (13-1), which bounced back after suffering its first loss Thursday against New Mexico.

Pittsburgh (12-2) had its eight-game winning streak come to an end as it struggled to 0-for-10 shooting from 3-point range and 15-of-25 from the free throw line. Talib Zanna scored 16 points and Lamar Patterson added 13 to lead the Panthers.

The Bearcats trailed 34-26 at the half but scored the first six points of the second half to get back into the game. Parker’s jumper with 12:36 left sparked a 14-2 run over the next five minutes that gave Cincinnati a 54-45 lead.

Pittsburgh scored four points in less than a second when Zanna was fouled on a made layup, missed the free throw and had Patterson sneak in for the tip. But Tray Woodall missed the front end of a one-and-one opportunity and the Bearcats were able to seal it at the line.
