Wyoming 76, No. 19 Colorado 69: Leonard Washington scored a season-high 22 points as the Cowboys knocked off the visiting Buffaloes to continue their best start in 25 years.

Larry Nance Jr. also produced a season high, scoring 14 points for Wyoming (8-0). Luke Martinez contributed 13 points and Derrious Gilmore and Josh Adams scored 12 apiece. Gilmore scored all his points in the second half.

Spencer Dinwiddie scored 24 points to lead the Buffaloes (6-1) and Andre Roberson finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Neither team led by more than three points in the first half. Wyoming finally got some separation when it scored six straight points to take a 51-42 lead with 9:20 remaining in the game. Colorado was never able to get closer than five the rest of the way.

Askia Booker, who came in leading Colorado in scoring at 16.8 points, finished with six on 2-for-13 shooting.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wyoming was hosting its first ranked non-conference opponent since the 1994-95 season. … Colorado broke into the Top 25 two weeks ago for the first time since the 1996-97 season. … Josh Scott, a 6-10 freshman center for Colorado, scored five points before fouling out with 2:20 to play.
