D'Angelo Harrison had 20 points and Sir'Dominic Pointer added a career-high 15 off the bench as the Red Storm rallied past the visiting Eagles.

Pointer went 6-of-8 from the floor and had a career-high six assists, eight rebounds, two steals and three blocked shots.

Bernard Thompson led the Eagles (4-3) with 20 points and Sherwood Brown added 15.

Chase Fieler gave the Eagles a 45-44 lead with a 3-pointer with 14:48 left but Harrison had 10 points during a 18-5 run that gave the Red Storm (4-2) the lead for good.

St. John's trailed by as many as 13 in the first half before tying the game at 32 with a 10-3 run over the last 3:52 of the first half. Pointer had two baskets during the run and an assist on JaKarr Sampson's layup with eight seconds left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Freshman Chris Obekpa blocked four shots and has 27 of the Red Storm's 50 blocks. ... The Eagles fell to 1-3 all-time against the Big East Conference ... FGCU's Eric McKnight entered the game with 13 blocks, but had one Saturday.
