Keala King led the way with 25 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Trent Lockett collected 20 points and 10 rebounds as Arizona State coasted to an 84-56 win over Wake Forest on Friday in the Old Spice Classic at Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Chris Colvin and Kyle Cain chipped in 10 points apiece for the Sun Devils (2-3), who shot 59 percent (32 of 54) from the floor and dominated on the glass, 35-23.

Arizona State bounced back quickly after suffering an embarrassing 55-44 loss to Fairfield in its Classic opener on Thursday.

The Sun Devils looked nothing like the team that shot under 40 percent against the Stags on Thursday. They set a much faster pace in the first half and jumped out to a 19-7 lead midway through the period when Lockett buried a 3-pointer. They would stretch it to 40-21 at the half and were never threatened again.

Wake Forest, which just barely fell to Dayton in its tournament opener on Thursday, struggled to 2 of 16 from beyond the arc and 35 percent overall.

C.J. Harris scored 17 points to lead the Demon Deacons.
