OREGON 90, COLORADO 81: Devoe Joseph scored 24 points as the host Ducks gained the inside track to a first-round bye in the Pac-12 tournament, aided by a burst early in the second half.

Garrett Sim scored 19 points and was 5 of 7 from 3-point range for Oregon (21-8, 12-5 Pac-12), which needs a victory over 11th-place Utah on Saturday – or a Colorado loss at Oregon State – to clinch a first-round bye.

Carlon Brown scored 20 points and Andre Roberson had 12 points and eight rebounds for Colorado (19-10, 11-6).

The Ducks trailed 45-41 before uncorking an 18-5 run in a 3:56 span. Sim made two 3-pointers during the spurt.

Joseph finished 11 for 16 from the field, including four straight baskets in the second half as Oregon increased its lead to as much as 12.

Colorado got as close as 80-76 with 1:00 to go before Oregon made 10 consecutive free throws to seal it.

The Buffaloes shot 63 percent en route to a 41-36 halftime lead. Brown, Colorado’s leading scorer who didn’t have more than eight points in his previous four games, had nine.

Joseph scored 11 points in the first half.
