ALABAMA 55, AUBURN 49: JaMychal Green scored 15 points, including a rebound and basket with 33.4 seconds left, to help the host Crimson Tide win their 20th game and move into fourth place in the Southeastern Conference.

Holding a 49-47 lead, Alabama worked nearly all the time off the shot clock before Trevor Lacey missed from the outside. Green grabbed the rebound, his team-leading eighth, and stuck it in the basket to give the Crimson Tide some breathing room.

Alabama (20-9, 9-6 SEC) won its fourth straight despite shooting only 30.4 percent from the field. Lacey added 10 points.

Auburn (14-15, 4-11), which has lost three straight, looked like a different team than the one that lost to the Crimson Tide by 18 earlier in the season.

Noel Johnson scored 11 points and hit three 3-pointers, one fewer 3 than he had made all season entering the game. Kenny Gabriel added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Alabama's Ben Eblen, who had not scored in 10 games, made a free throw for his only point in 15 minutes. ... Auburn went eight minutes without scoring a point in the first half. Ironically, it came when Alabama football coach Nick Saban – a man noted for his defense – was the guest of the broadcasting crew. ... Auburn is 0-8 in SEC road games.
