TEXAS TECH 65, OKLAHOMA 47: Javarez Willis scored a career-high 21 points and the host Red Raiders won their first Big 12 game of the season.

Robert Lewandowski added 16 points for Texas Tech (8-16, 1-11 Big 12), which won for the first time since Dec. 30.

Twelve of Lewandowski’s points came during a decisive second-half run that helped Texas Tech open up a 17-point lead with less than six minutes to go.

This was the Red Raiders' first conference victory since March 2 of last year, when they also beat Oklahoma at home.

Andrew Fitzgerald had 14 points to lead Oklahoma (14-10, 4-8 Big 12), which has dropped four straight and six of its past seven. This was the Sooners' lowest-scoring game of the season.

Texas Tech closed the first half on a 9-2 spurt to take a 25-22 lead into the break, and took a 42-34 lead when Lewandowski connected on the second of back-to-back jumpers with 11:16 left.

The Red Raiders extended their lead to 47-35 when Ty Nurse found Lewandowski for a layup with just less than nine minutes remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Steven Pledger, Oklahoma’s leading scorer, missed five of his first six shots and scored only four points. … The Sooners shot only 2 of 14 on 3-pointers. … The teams split the season series.
