Jamaal Franklin had 24 points and 11 rebounds as No. 17 San Diego State marked its seventh straight 20-win season with an 83-73 victory over visiting TCU on Saturday.

After shooting only 31.3 percent in their last two games, the Aztecs (20-3, 6-1 Mountain West) shot 50.8 percent against TCU and led by as many as 18 in the second half.

TCU (13-9, 3-4) was paced by Kyan Anderson’s 22 points. J.R. Cadot added 15 for the Horned Frogs, who were outrebounded 34-19.

Four players scored in double figures for San Diego State, which extended its home winning streak to 10. The Aztecs have won 44 straight home games against unranked opponents.

Together with Wyoming’s upset of No. 13 UNLV earlier in the day, the Aztecs’ win moved them one game ahead of the Rebels atop the Mountain West.

The defeat extended several unfortunate streaks for TCU, which lost its fifth straight road game, 16th straight against ranked opponents and seventh straight against San Diego State.
