Jared Sullinger scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds as No. 3 Ohio State posted a 58-52 win at No. 20 Wisconsin, enabling the Buckeyes to hold onto first place in the Big Ten.

The sophomore made 8 of 17 from the floor and 8 of 10 from the line for his seventh 20-point effort of the year. William Buford added 11 points for the Buckeyes (20-3, 8-2 Big Ten), including a crucial 3-pointer – the team’s only trey of the day -- with 2:25 remaining that stopped Wisconsin’s late momentum.

The Badgers (18-6, 7-4) were led by Ryan Evans with 14 points, Jordan Taylor with 12 points and six assists, and Mike Bruesewitz with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

It was the first win for Ohio State at the Kohl Center since 2000, breaking a nine-game losing streak there.
