Dorian Green had 12 points for the Rams (14-6, 3-2 Mountain West), whose fans stormed the court after the Rams beat their first ranked opponent since 2003-04 and improved to 10-1 at home.

Jamaal Franklin had 24 points and 10 rebounds for San Diego State (18-3, 4-1 Mountain West), which shot 31 percent and lost to an unranked opponent for the first time in 59 games.

Colorado State ended a nine-game losing streak against the Aztecs, who shot just three-of-21 (14.3 percent) from three-point range. The Rams shot 48 percent from the field and were a perfect 23-of-23 from the free-throw line.

Coming off back-to-back losses to Wyoming and New Mexico, Colorado State extended its 12-point halftime lead to 18 with 12 minutes to play. The Aztecs had won four straight when trailing at the half, but the Rams maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half.
