Oregon trailed by four points with 15:22 to play before taking control with a 17-6 run. Singler culminated the spurt with a 3-pointer to give the Ducks a 60-53 advantage with 5:50 remaining. The Sun Devils never trailed by less than four the rest of the contest.

The Ducks shot 53.2 percent from the field and made eight 3-point baskets.

Arizona State scored under 70 points for the 11th consecutive game.

Oregon built an 11-point, first-half lead and still led 33-23 after Joseph buried a 3-pointer with 4:57 left in the half. But Arizona State closed the half with a 12-4 run, pulling within 37-35 on Lockett’s driving basket with two seconds left.

Lockett played all 40 minutes for Arizona State, which dismissed starting guard Keala King earlier this week.
