The Rebels (10-4) trailed 48-46 after SMU’s Leslee Smith hit a jumper with 1:56 to go. Henry responded with a layup to tie the game with 1:33 remaining, then buried the free throws to give Ole Miss a 50-48 advantage.

Tied at 36 midway through the second half, Ole Miss scored eight consecutive points, taking a 44-36 lead on Henry’s three-point play with 7:29 to go. Nyakundi, who had a team-high 12 points, rallied the Mustangs by scoring eight straight to pull SMU into a 44-44 tie with 5:26 left.

The Rebels used a strong final three minutes to take a 28-21 halftime lead. Ole Miss led by 10 early in the second half.
