Kris Joseph scored 17 points to lead a balanced attack as top-ranked Syracuse coasted to an 80-61 home win over Bucknell.

The Orange (12-0) used eight straight points and held Bucknell without a field goal for nearly seven minutes, building a 21-8 cushion with 8:44 remaining in the first half.

The Bison (7-5) never got back within single digits, falling behind by as many as 23 early in the second half.

Syracuse, which got 14 points and three steals from Scoop Jardine, hit 28-of-53 shots overall (53 percent) and 8-of-17 from 3-point range. The Orange created assists on 19 of those baskets in an efficient offensive performance.

Mike Muscala paced Bucknell with 14 points and seven rebounds. The Bison hit just 36 percent (22-for-61) from the field and the Patriot League team had seven of its shots blocked.
