No. 25 Missouri extended its school-record home win streak over nonconference opponents to 61 with an easy 83-52 win over Niagara in a regional round of the CBE Classic.

The Tigers (3-0) raced to a 45-22 halftime lead. Senior guard Marcus Denmon nailed 4 of 6 three-pointers in his 17-point first half, and finished with 22 points. Senior swingman Kim English led four others in double figures with 14.

The Purple Eagles (1-1) shot just 32.3 percent. Antoine Mason and Juan'ya Green had 10 points each.

Mizzou, gunning for its fourth straight NCAA bid, improved to 11-3 all-time in the CBE Classic, having previously appeared in 2001, 2004 and 2007.

New coach Frank Haith saw his Tigers win the rebounding battle 32-25 and play unselfishly, getting 15 assists on 25 field goals.
