Oklahoma State rebounded quickly from a slow start and extended its home non-conference winning streak to 34 games with a 73-46 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the opening round of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off on Tuesday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Oklahoma State advances to face Texas-San Antonio, a one-point victor over Oral Roberts, at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The Golden Lions (0-1) raced to a 10-2 lead by the first media timeout, but the Cowboys chipped away and tied it at 17. Oklahoma State closed the half on a 19-7 run for a 31-24 lead.

The Cowboys (2-0) used their transition game to pull away in the second half. Swingman Jean-Paul Olukemi led four Oklahoma State players in double figures with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Redshirt freshman Brian Williams added 12, Markel Brown scored 11 and Keiton Page had 10.

Savalace Townsend scored 12 points to lead the Golden Lions, who have lost 19 consecutive November games dating to 2007.

Oklahoma State's dynamic freshman duo of Le'Bryan Nash and Cezar Guerrero didn't do much at the offensive end, combining for 11 points after scoring 25 between them in a season-opening win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
