Missouri's senior trio of Marcus Denmon, Ricardo Ratliffe and Kim English combined for 59 points in an 83-68 victory over visiting Southeast Missouri State to make coach Frank Haith a winner in his debut with the No. 25 Tigers.

Denmon and Ratliffe provided 20 points apiece, and English had 19 for the Tigers, who began their final season as a Big 12 member before moving to the SEC.

Haith took over at Missouri after compiling a 129-101 record in seven seasons at Miami. Mike Anderson, who coached the Tigers to a 23-11 mark last season, won in his debut for Arkansas on Friday.

The Tigers, ranked entering the season for the first time since 2003, couldn't shake the Redhawks for 20 minutes and went into halftime holding a 38-36 edge.

But Missouri pulled away in the second half against the Ohio Valley foe, which was without leading player Leon Powell. The senior forward, who topped Division I players in field goal percentage (63.0) last season, sat out after injuring his knee in an exhibition game Monday (MRI results were negative).

The Tigers turned a 47-41 lead into a 55-42 advantage during a 1:15 stretch and were not threatened thereafter.

Tyler Stone had 18 points and six rebounds, and Marcus Brister added 15 points for the Redhawks, who are coming off a 10-22 campaign.

Missouri improved to 6-0 all-time in the series, whose last game was a 65-64 Tigers' victory in 1997.
