Mississippi used a 17-4 second-half run to win for the third time in four games Saturday, topping Arkansas 69-60 at Fayetteville, Ark.

Mississippi (15-8, 3-5 SEC) was led by Chris Warren’s 19 points and Reginald Buckner’s eight blocked shots, moving within one game of second place in the SEC West. Marshawn Powell’s 19 points off the bench led Arkansas (14-8, 4-5 SEC), which shot 36 percent in losing for the fourth time in six games.

Tied at 43-43 with 12:55 to go, the Rebels took control. Mississippi used an 8-1 run to build a 51-44 advantage on Buckner’s layup with 9:43 left. After the Razorbacks pulled within 51-46 on two Rotnei Clarke free throws, the Rebels scored nine of the next 10 points to cap the run, going ahead 60-47 on Nick Williams’ layup with 5:58 remaining.

Buckner just missed a triple-double, finishing with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Zach Graham added 17 points and Terrance Henry scored 11 for the Rebels.

Graham scored seven points in the first four minutes as the Rebels built a 13-2 lead. The Razorbacks whittled the lead to 18-17 with a 15-5 surge. Warren’s layup with 6:08 left in the half put the Rebels up 24-17, and Mississippi carried a 31-27 lead into halftime.

The Rebels led 36-30 on Warren’s jumper four minutes into the second half, but Arkansas scored eight consecutive points to lead 38-36 on Mardracus Wade’s layup with 14:32 remaining.

Mississippi plays host to LSU on Wednesday. Arkansas travels Wednesday to Mississippi State.
